Why You've Never Gotten in Shape (And How to Overcome It)

Feeling Frustrated and Unmotivated?

If you're feeling frustrated and unmotivated, it's time to take a step back and evaluate what's going on. In this blog, I want to highlight some of the common reasons why people like yourself struggle with their fitness goals and how they can overcome these obstacles.

The fitness industry can be overwhelming: There are so many different diets, training programs and supplements out there that it's easy to get overwhelmed by all of them! The truth is that no magic pill or shortcut exists for getting in shape--it takes hard work and commitment over time. If you find yourself constantly changing up your workout routine or diet plan because something else sounds better than what you're currently doing (or maybe even because someone told you about a new type of training or diet), then this may be an indication that something isn't working for YOU personally yet--and when I say "for YOU personally," I mean specifically YOUR lifestyle needs/goals/etc., not just generic advice from anyone who happens upon your path at any given moment during your journey to improve your body, confidence and mentality and health.

What is Bodybuilding?

Bodybuilding is a tried and tested training and nutrition structure that has been used by hundreds of thousands of people to achieve the most dramatic physical changes possible. By people of all shapes and sizes from all over the world from any background you can think of. Anyone can use these principles to transform their body, regardless of age, gender, financial situation, location and lifestyle. The key is knowing how to apply them correctly.

Cutting Through the Noise

Whether you're just starting out or have been working on your fitness for years, there are a lot of things that can get in the way of your goals. You might be unsure of what to do next, or feel like you're not making progress fast enough.
You may also be bombarded with conflicting information about what's best for you, getting told "don't do this exercise do this one", "don't eat carbs", "fats are bad for you", "only do high reps" . It's easy to get caught up in all the noise around us--so much so that sometimes you don't even realise how much you've been influenced by others' opinions until your progress comes to a stand still because you've gone so far from your original plan!

The Power of Bodybuilding

Bodybuilding is one of the best ways to improve your confidence and self-esteem. It's a sport that requires you to push yourself physically and mentally, which can lead to an increase in both areas.

When you're lifting weights, it's easy to become distracted by how much weight you're lifting or how many reps are left on your workout plan. But if you keep focusing on how good it feels when your muscles start burning and how your body is growing and noticing new muscles when flexing (or even just relaxed in front of a mirror), then this will help build up self-confidence over time.

This confidence also extends beyond just physical appearance--it also helps boost how others perceive us as well! When people see us working out regularly or notice how your body looks well trained (or both), they start treating us differently than before: with more respect because they know it takes hard work and consistency to achieve that look. it can't be faked, there is no short cut. The fact that it's hard to achieve is what makes it valuable and respected by others.

How All This Applies to Muscle Performance

Muscle Performance was created using all the knowledge I gained from a successful bodybuilding career, including winning a world championship, turning professional, and winning competitions in England, America, Australia, and Sweden. By embracing the bodybuilding mentality and principles, Muscle Performance helps people not only get in shape but stay in shape for life.

Viewing yourself as a bodybuilder can help you say no to things that could normally knock you off track, because it becomes a part of who you are. You become the type of person who motivates others by your example of work ethic and dedication. At Muscle Performance, the goal is not just to get you in shape, but to help you improve mentally and physically to the point where you end up helping everyone you know better themselves from your example.

The only way to make everyone fitter and healthier is to help one person learn so much that they can then help ten people they know, and those ten people help ten more, and so on. With Muscle Performance, the ultimate goal is for everyone to be confident and proud of what they see in the mirror and be healthy.
